The Kuni Atelier, situated on a tranquil farm in Eikenhof, south of Johannesburg, is truly a place of inspiration. This is not a workshop where people come to work; it is the heart and pulse of every Kuni creation.

Gys Potgieter spent his childhood on this farm – it is reminiscent of family, love and meaning. What makes the Atelier so special is that Gys started his woodworking business here in the farm stable when he was only 14 years old. Now, almost 40 years later, he is back here with his team… back to where it all started. Back to working with his hands, painstakingly designing one-of-a-kind works of art, where the love for wood surpasses everything else.
